Do you love sharing the joy of books and learning with others?
We are a camp of around 25-30 that have been bringing a library to Black Rock City since 2013. Our librarians distribute thousands of books each year with a strict one year ‘check-out’ policy and we host entertaining and educational interactive events.
About Camping with the Library
Camp dues are $300.00.
Campers get access to:
- Private shaded dining/kitchen area for you to cook your own meals (Pots/pans/cooktop)
- Drinking water
- Simple low water shower
We also have a limited number of:
- Bikes
- Work Passes for those able to help assemble the library durning build week.
Expectations:
- Participate as a librarian, and/or event creator
- All camp members need to help with camp tear down at end of week (Saturday Morning)
- No gas generators (we are a green camp)
