Do you love sharing the joy of books and learning with others?
We are a camp of around 25-30 that have been bringing a library to Black Rock City since 2013. Our librarians distribute thousands of books each year with a strict one year ‘check-out’ policy and we host entertaining and educational interactive events.
Where are we?
This year we will be on Enchant near 4:15.
About Camping with the Library
Camp dues are $375.00.
Campers get access to:
- Private shaded dining/kitchen area for you to cook your own meals.
- Potable water for drinking
- Purchasable ticket to the event
We also have a limited number of:
- Bikes
- Work Passes for those able to help assemble the library durning build week.
- Vehicle Passes for purchase
Expectations:
- Participate as a librarian, and/or event creator
- All camp members need to help with camp tear down at end of week
- No generators
